Course of Empire releases self titled album for Dallas based Carpe Diem
records, November 1990. The album sells over 5000 records in Dallas alone
leading to the band signing with BMG subsidarary Zoo Entertainment in August 1991.
Zoo was also home to such artists as Tool and Matthew Sweet.

Zoo re-released the now digitally remastered record in January 1992

January 1994 saw the release of our sophomore effort entitled "INITIATION"
which featured the single "
INFESTED". The album was once again a teaming
of the band and David Castell. The band spent the majority of the year
touring with the likes of Machines of Loving Grace, Prong, etc...

January 1998, a full four years after the release of "INITIATION", C.O.E released "TELEPATHIC LAST WORDS" on New York based TVT records. The album was recorded in its entirety at the band's own studio in Dallas, TX by producer John Fryer and drummer Chad Lovell.
